April and May 2026 Children Camps @ Learning Village Bwejuu, Zanzibar

How our Camps work

  1. Sleepover Camp or Day-Camp with Shuttle Bus
We offer it both. Parents can choose whether you want your child to sleep at home or at camp. Minimum age for sleeping at camp is 7 years. View our Night Campus
  2. Choose your two Courses prior to Camp
During Registration, Campers list their course preferences. Based on these, they will be assigned two Courses for the duration of the camp. In case a camper visits more than one camp, they choose different courses each camp so that the camp stays interesting. View our Courses
  3. Choose Evening Activities ad hoc

Werewolf

________________________________
although known by different names in different countries (e.g. Werewolf in Germany, Mafia in Russia, Ktulu in Poland, etc.) - this game always has the same structure: two teams with hidden identity compete by trying to find out who is in the other team

Stratego Terrain Game

________________________________
“Stratego the Terrain Game EE” is a real-time outdoor strategy game. Each team member must master its secret role as well as team communication and planning skills, since the available information increases as the game develops. An insane and unique mix of strategy, bluffs, teamwork and “capture the flag”.

No Need for Talent Show

________________________________
This is an opportunity for campers to present a particular skill or talent of theirs in front of the audience. This will boost their self- confidence and make them more comfortable of holding presentations. It's called "No Need for Talent Show" because you don't need a Talent to present anything.

Super Secret Surprise Game

Why choose us

Because the safety of children matters.

to ensure all children's safety and wellbeing, we have different policies and procedures in place.
Professional Proximity Training
All our Young Leaders and Campus Staff attend at least 3 days of Training on Professional Proximity, Communication, and basic Pedagogy.
First Aid Training
All our Young Leaders receive a First Aid Training. Also, we are only 10 minutes drive to the next hospital in case of medical emergencies.
Background Check
All employees are required to provide a police clearance certificate upon hiring. Also, the suitability of staff is ensured through extensive job interviews and internal training.
Regular Water Testing
Since we have our own deep wells on each Campi, our tap water is drinkable. It is tested weekly with rapid tests.
Gated Compounds
Both our campi are walled and gated. Campers do not leave the Campus alone, and they report to a team member before leaving.
Transport Procedure
Before boarding and disembarking any vehicle, a head count is performed to ensure no camper gets lost.
