Children Camps @ Learning Village Paje, Zanzibar

In our art workshop, children will discover new ways to create, explore new painting techniques and let their imagination run wild, all while having fun .

During the camp, kids will dive into following art adventures:

• Pebble Painting — Using pebbles of all shapes and sizes, children will paint colorful animals and fruits, discovering the playful world of decorative art one brushstroke at a time.
• Painting with leaves — We'll take a nature walk together to collect leaves of every shape, then transform them into imaginative works of art — turning simple leaves into butterflies, animals, and magical creatures.
• Clay & Shell Decorations — Little hands will shape clay into unique creations, boosting fine motor skills and coordination while sparking imagination through tactile, sensory play.
• Line Art — Using only colorful lines, children will   design their own landscape illustration, learning how something as simple as a line can build an entire world.

Each session blends creativity, nature and gentle skill-building, helping children express themselves freely while creating artworks they'll be proud to take home.

In this course, campers will fabricate a traditional drum and play rhythms together.

What Students Will Learn:

• knowledge about the materials used for building a drum
• processing the drum skin to become smooth
• rhythms with the drum
• study a performance to present to the parents
