How our Camps work
- Day-Camp with Shuttle Bus
The October Camp is a day camp, meaning children get picked with shuttle bus alongside East Coast and dropped off after the camp day daily. View our Campus - Choose your two Courses prior to Camp
During Registration, Campers list their course preferences. Based on these, they will be assigned two Courses for the duration of the camp. In case a camper visits more than one camp, they choose different courses each camp so that the camp stays interesting. View our Courses - Choose Evening Activities ad hoc
We offer a variety of optional Evening Activities at camp. Campers can choose to either relax, just spend time with their friends, or attend the Evening Activities. View our Evening Activities

Make your own paper
Turn everyday scraps into magical masterpieces! In this hands-on workshop, young artists will craft their own recycled parchment paper infused with island flowers and natural textures. We'll brew vibrant, nontoxic paints from local spices and forage nature to build custom brushes from twigs and coconut fibers. A creative, zero-waste adventure where kids build their art completely from scratch!

Little Birders & Nature Explorers: The Wild Week Adventure!
Hey, explorers! Have you ever wondered what birds are actually saying to each other? Where they sleep at night? What secret treasures are hiding right under your feet, if only you slowed down enough to spot them?
This week, we're grabbing our binoculars, our curiosity, and our sense of adventure. For five wild days, we'll be outdoor detectives: watching, listening, collecting, building, and creating. No screens. No hurry. Just us and the big, buzzing, chirping, rustling world outside.
Our mission: Have a blast, get curious, and learn how to take care of this amazing planet one leaf, one bird, one tiny stone at a time.

Fortunata studied wildlife conversation and has hosted many bird-watching and nature workshops among primary schools.
Acrobatics
In this acrobatics class, kids will learn:
- Safe stretching and warm-up exercises
- Balancing, rolling and basic floor movements
- Jumps, poses and simple acrobatic combinations
- Partner activities that encourage trust and teamwork
- A fun movement sequence to present to parents
and it will be finished by a show presented to the parents.

Saluum is a professional Acrobatics Teacher with his own Center in Zanzibar.
Our Day Campus
The courses during camp are held at Zanzibar.Center Learning Village in Paje, on its 3000 square meters campus featuring:
- 3 indoor and 2 outdoor course rooms
- sand area for playing football, tag, or terrain games
- garden with trampoline
- 10 computers for Arduino and Music Production
- Solar Power for uninterrupted events
- 100+ Board Games

Professional Proximity Training
Our Camp Counsellors and Campus Staff attend at least 3 days of Training on Professional Proximity, Communication, and basic Pedagogy.
First Aid Training
Our Camp Counsellors receive a First Aid Training. Also, we are only 5 minutes drive to the next hospital in case of medical emergencies.
Background Check
All employees are required to undergo a background check upon hiring. Also, the suitability of staff is ensured through extensive job interviews and internal training.
Regular Water Testing
Since we have our own deep wells on each Campi, our tap water is drinkable. It is tested regularly with rapid tests.
Gated Compounds
Both our campi are walled and gated. Campers do not leave the Campus alone, and they report to a team member before leaving.
Transport Procedure
Before boarding and disembarking any vehicle, a head count is performed to ensure no camper gets lost.
